The Overview
The Think Model
Every structured discussion is built around a Think — a statement designed to provoke analysis, debate, and reflection. Each Think follows two scientific stages:
Stage 1 — Initial Vote & Reasoning
Students share their first position along with early reasoning and any optional evidence. This stage captures their unfiltered intuition before peer influence begins and establishes a baseline for their thinking.
AI Coaching & Moderation
AI acts as a reasoning coach—never a content generator—offering guidance to improve structure, spot logical fallacies, surface missing evidence, encourage respectful tone, flag harmful content for review, and identify class-wide patterns. This helps students strengthen clarity and critical thinking.
Stage 2: Review & Final Voting
Students revisit the discussion, engage with new perspectives, reflect on their stance, and submit a final vote. This mirrors real academic discourse and reinforces skills in revision, intellectual humility, and evidence-based decision-making.
